My clients often want to express their thanks in a testimonial. This is very much appreciated. Below are just a few.
Jim has been writing pieces of code for me for over 30 years now. He is fast, future proof and creates common sense solutions. We do not pay him enough, he always rises to a challenge. Thanks Jim! Robert, American Boat Listings

Hi my name is Patrick. I had a need for a very complicated spreadsheet for managing the mobile home park finances and even numbers for the taxes. There is a lot of programs out there, they are expensive and difficult for me to learn. I met Jim at the local craft brewery actually, and we started talking. Jim said, no problem that’s an easy one. I took that with a grain of salt and we exchanged numbers. The very next morning, around 11:30, I get a text with a link to a spreadsheet. Jim remembered everything I conveyed on my requirements. ONLY A COUPLE TWEAKS were required because, I left some stuff out. The result was simply amazing and I had no trouble understanding the sheet and entering data. Truly a man of his word. THANKS JIM!
Chuck with Action Mobility Scooters here. I contacted Jim at Awarp about a custom circuit to convert 52v scooter light bulb systems to 12vdc L.E.D.. There is nothing out there to do this surprisingly. Jim designed a custom voltage splitter adapted to a standard, widely available linier voltage regulator. Affordable off the shelf linear regulators max out at around 40v max input. Jim designed a circuit that splits the voltage first then into an adjustable output regulator. Perfect but, he went one step further and also included a 5vdc USB output. I never thought of that. Jim said, if your going to make it, best to think about what’s next. I can now convert these mobility scooters to 12v L.E.D. and offer a USB port too. Jim did an excellent job in two days time.
Hi all my name is John. Jim lives down the street from me and I can tell you, from a custom controller solution for my smoker to a spreadsheet for logging all my temperatures and moisture levels, he has helped me quite a bit. Jim likes a challenge and is super easy to work with when I try to explain what I want, he gets it. Thanks man.
Jim at Awarp wrote us a custom inventory management program in less than a week. None of the boxed software solutions provided what we needed without heavy support, extra plug in modules and more money. Jim wrote us an interface, a GUI that ANYONE can use and saves the data to a dedicated server, not an insecure “cloud”. He also made some google sheets that helped us run production scenarios. Jim is super easy to work with and has a so much experience, he just knows right what to do. We are very happy.
Hello, we manufacture GFCI’s and other electronic modules out of Michigan. Covid hit us hard and we lost half our staff and our production team during our shutdown. When we were shut down, we designed a couple new products. However, without our production manager, there was no-one to write the procedures for the lines. We sent Jim pictures of the line, a sample module, a list of equipment on said line and how many people were to staff the line. It was like he was here in person. He was very familiar with all the equipment from wave solder to orbital riveters, Heller lead forming machines, wire machines, presses, tensile tester and others. He said he had used them all many times and repaired them as well! He also knew all of the components on the board, reads color codes and even suggested a couple part substitutions. He wrote easy to follow common sense procedures along with graphics for each station. Honestly, we did not think this could be done remotely but, he damn near nailed it on the first try and that was our bad not providing ALL the info. Four revisions later, we were running on his procedures. We plan to have him write and replace the existing procedures for or other lines. His procedures and understanding of process control is simply great. Thanks again Jim.
Hi this is the Rum Syndicate band. Someone hacked our wordpress site and stole our domain name too. Met Jim at a show in happenstance when he was commenting on how awesome my amplifier and tone was. Gave him a card but told him the URL is no longer good and what happened. He casually said he would take a look. I did not think twice about it as a lot of people one meets a gigs talk, but nothing comes of it. Jim did not look or talk like a techie type either. Two days later he texted me. He had our band site up on one of his dedicated servers and had pushed our social media pages to the top of the search engines. There was no mention of how much it would cost, he just did it. Jim said “If you are happy with the result, this was my costs and I would like to re-coup that.” Well.. we doubled it and are forever grateful! Thanks Jim!
My name is Antony with Boat Fuel Pinellas. My customers were continually asking for my website address or online business card. I never really thought I needed one and honestly, did not care for one. I looked into it, called a local company, got a quote and WOW, thousands for a basic site then an annual fee! Nah, I definitely DO NOT need a website. I mentioned this to Jim in a casual conversation and told him I probably need one, asked how much does it cost from you? Jim said he would put something together so I can take a look. IN TWO DAYS he contacted me. He told me to google “Boat Fuel Pinellas” and I WAS THE TOP TWO out of thousands! He did this WITHOUT AND PAID ADVERTISING or a sponsored spot. IN TWO DAYS. I had him change a couple things and add a couple items but, he created the entire thing off the cuff with no information except my business card and a couple of pictures from my social media page. How does someone do that? IDFK but, he did. I had not even given him and money yet. He showed me his costs for domains, hosting and told me how many hours it took. I happily paid WAY LESS for everything than I would have just for just hosting! I now get more business even in the off season and on weekends. Thanks so very much Jim!
Hello, I am Frederick and I import & distribute cookware. I often hold shows at events like fairs, home events and even hotel promos. In 1993, I was in need of a point of sale system where there was no internet or data connection. Jim wrote a custom program for me that saved all the data to a CSV flatfile on my windows laptop. That data could then be imported to my main accounting software later on. There are many accounting, point of sale and inventory programs now available but, they all need to be customized to my application then, I have to learn them. Although technology and connectivity has more than caught up since 1993, I still use his program to this day.
